Meet Crystal

I’m Crystal Robinson, a trained chef, educator, and proud homeschool mom who guided both of my daughters all the way through to college graduation.

I studied at Le cordon Bleu in California and completed my externship under Chef Lazone Randolph at Brennan’s in New Orleans. During that time, I had the opportunity to meet Chef Emeril Lagasse at a culinary teaching event, an experience that deepend my belief in food as a powerful, transformative learning tool.

But my journey didn’t stop in the kitchen.

While homeschooling my daughters and now my son, I realized that traditional curricula often didn’t fully support their learning styles or meet them where they were. To help them succeed, I began creating personalized study guides, lesson plans, and learning activities that not only matched how they learned best, but also aligned with curriculum we were already using.

Sometimes that meant building a worksheet to help them pass a tough quiz. Other times, it meant designing a full cross-subject lesson plan around a book they loved. I shared what I created with other families and heard the same thing again and again: “We need this too.”

That’s when Homeschool Made was born.
